The EOC tour on the Via Querinissima

On the occasion of the European Orienteering Championships 2023 (EOC 2023), held in October 2023 in Veneto (Italy), the EOC 2023 Committee, in collaboration with our Association and some of its members (the Veneto Region, Nordland County, the Municipality of Bodø, and the Municipality of Røst) organized a special pre-event initiative in August entitled the Baccalà Orienteering Tour along the Via Querinissima.

Our Association endorsed this unique project, during which members of the Orienteering Organising Committee retraced part of Pietro Querini’s historic journey.

It was a significant event that combined the promotion of history, culture, and sport.
