A 6-day walking tour in the footsteps of Pietro Querini, combining hiking, nature, culture and traditions. This captivating itinerary centres on the Ría de Muros-Noia (Ría da Estrela), an Atlantic estuary in Galicia (Spain), characterised by historic fishing villages, unspoilt beaches and ancient fishing traditions.
During the daily hikes, which cover the entire perimeter of the Ría over four days, there will be guided visits to archaeological sites and other places of natural and/or cultural interest, especially linked to Pietro Querini and his stay there in 1431.
It will be a thrilling experience not only to walk along some of the paths that Querini travelled in the 15th century, but also to see first-hand the traces he left behind and the importance they still hold today.
