The Music Middle School of Axams (Mittelschule Karl Schónherr Axams) is currently involved in the educational project "Notes on Via Querinissima" with the Zanella Institute of Sandrigo.
From the very beginning, music has been lived and breathed in countless ways. Participation in district and state youth singing festivals, instrumental music-making in a wide variety of ensembles, ranging in focus from traditional folk music to rock bands, music weeks, and performances of all kinds of concerts and musicals have always been an integral part of school life.
What makes the school truly special is the “music afternoon.” During this time, class groups are dissolved and students from the usually four music classes are mixed together. This allows us to cater to individual interests and preferences while creating excellent school choirs, orchestras, and dance ensembles, where younger students benefit from the experience of older ones. The music afternoon also offers teachers the opportunity to realize their talents and creative ideas, such as a musical-dance performance in the style of Black Light Theater.
The success story of the Music Middle School in Axams has always depended, and still depends,bon the dedication of our principals, faculty, and parents, who support the school with understanding and willingness to help, who encourage and cheer the students on, and who express gratitude and appreciation at class evenings, church services, competitions, concerts, Black Light Theater performances, class projects, and music weeks.
But above all, "we would be nothing without the tremendous enthusiasm and commitment of the children, who, with their youthful energy and openness, constantly remind us, the teachers, of the essential point, the one and only thing that truly matters:
