A weekend of history, flavours and traditions at the Via Querinissima Days
From 25 to 27 September, Sandrigo (VI) and the Vicenza area invite you to a unique experience during the Via Querinissima Days and the Festa del Bacalà alla Vicentina.
Three days dedicated to the extraordinary history of Pietro Querini, the centuries-old link between Sandrigo and the Norwegian island of Røst, and the tradition of the famous Bacalà alla Vicentina. The programme organised by Pro Loco Sandrigo and the Confraternita del Bacalà includes guided tours, exhibitions, cultural events, the ‘La Querina’ Award ceremony, the evocative Via Querinissima Gala Dinner and the grand festival dedicated to Bacalà alla Vicentina, featuring parades, tastings, performances and official events.
To round off the experience, there are visits to the city of Vicenza, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, excursions through the Berici Hills and food and wine tastings to discover the region’s most authentic…
