Über die Veranstaltung
As part of the Tocatì Festival, from 10.00 to 13.00 at the Natural History Museum in Verona, in collaboration with AGA (Associazione Giochi Antichi), a painting and writing workshop will be held based on The Adventurous Journey of Mr Q. – A True Story, an illustrated book recounting Pietro Querini’s incredible and adventurous 15th-century journey.
The Associazione Giochi Antichi (AGA), founded in Verona in 2002, is the lead organisation and coordinator of Tocatì, a multinational programme (developed in collaboration with Belgium, Cyprus, Croatia and France) recognised in December 2022 as a UNESCO Best Practice for the Safeguarding of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The UNESCO Recognition: The programme ‘Tocatì, a shared programme for the safeguarding of traditional games and sports’ is the first Italian entry in the Register of Good Practices under the 2003 UNESCO Convention.
