Über die Veranstaltung
On Monday, May 12th, in the prestigious setting of the Regional Council Presidency of Veneto, the documentary film “Venice-Lofoten Islands: Cycling in the Footsteps of Querini and the Via Querinissima Route” will be presented.
A journey retracing the itinerary of Captain Pietro Querini. The film tells the incredible story of Adriano Pellizzon and Paolo Vidotto, who set off on June 28, 2024, from the Venice Port Authority for an extraordinary trip of over 4,400 km, inspired by Via Querinissima route all the way to the breathtaking Lofoten Islands and North Cape.
The Via Querinissima route, indeed, is the ideal destination for lovers of slow tourism: a journey immersed in stunning landscapes, authentic villages, and still largely undiscovered territories, where history and nature come together in a unique experience.
